I’m all about effortless, natural makeup during the daytime–and in the summer especially. Thankfully, my ride or die Glossier makes it easy to achieve a sun-kissed beach-y look.
Most of my glow-y makeup looks tend to be on the bronze side, but for something more casual, I aim for a sunnier color palette–without sacrificing any of the glow!
At the center of my look (quite literally!) is Glossier’s Cloud Paint in Beam and Haloscope in Topaz. This duo is perfect for enhancing (or faking!) sun-kissed summer skin. And when layered on top of one another, they create a stunning glow-y effect and a one-of-a-kind warm, peachy flush that subtly lifts the cheekbones as it illuminates.
Lately when I’ve been in need of a natural, casual makeup look, I’ve been going for this clean, fresh one. It is super simple to recreate and appears effortless, so I decided to share it with all my followers because I’ve really been loving it.
Products I used:

- Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam

- Glossier Balm Dotcom in Birthday
- Glossier Generation G in Leo
Step 1: Prime the face using the Oil-Free Mattifying Gel Moisturizer, focusing the most product in the t-zone, then working it outwards.
Step 2: Apply 1-2 layers of BB Cream using the same technique as the primer.
Step 3: Use Stretch Concealer to hide any blemishes or redness, and to brighten the under-eye area.
Step 4: Set the t-zone and under eyes using a light layer of Wowder; apply more as needed.
Step 5: To “melt” makeup into the skin for a more natural look, use Boscia’s setting spray evenly across the entire face. Tap any excess spray lightly into the skin.
Step 6: After setting spray has dried completely, apply a small amount of Cloud Paint to the apples of the cheeks, working the product upwards across the cheekbones as you go. For more intense color payoff, repeat this step as desired.
Step 7: Apply Haloscope in a “C” shape along the orbital bones around the eyes and onto the cheekbones. Once applied, tap to blend into the skin. (See Glossier’s website for a video demo.)
Step 8: Using an upward motion, apply Boy Brow to the brows beginning in the center of each brow, then working towards the inner and outer corners.
Step 9: After combing and curling the lashes, apply two coats of mascara to both the upper and lower lashes.
Step 10: To moisturize lips and add a subtle sheen, layer a light coat of Birthday Balm Dotcom under 2-3 coats of Generation G.
