Never in a million years when starting this blog did I imagine I would be collab-ing with a brand like NA-KD.com!
I first discovered the site from one of my old favorite influencers Lauren Elizabeth, and now I am so excited my community can learn more about NA-KD from me. Not going to lie–the first thing that drew me to this brand was the name; I am a total sucker for cheeky labels and sayings. But what really kept my attention for the past year or so has been the variety of styles on NA-KD.com.
Ever since Revolve completely turned me off with their dozens of brand trips and events per year, I’ve been looking for an alternative. I will admit that Revolve stocks nearly all my go-to labels, but I made the conscious decision to stop shopping on the Revolve site. Intermix has been a great alternative, but it is a little pricey.
NA-KD is home to favs like Bardot (love their pieces for special events), Free People (been shopping FP since eighth grade), Hot As Hell (killer lingerie and swim), Minkpink (cool Aussie label) and The Ragged Priest (fun denim).
The NA-KD team let me choose three pieces to style for fall, and I decided it would be fun to do a two-part post: one detailing an evening outfit, and the other featuring a daytime outfit.
This past weekend was a holiday that–for all my fellow Americans–marked the unofficial end of summer, so of course I had to get somewhat dressed up. I paired a shiny corset top from NA-KD with knee-length denim cut-offs.
All season long I’ve been loving the longer shorts trend, and what better way to dress up a pair of cut-offs than with a feminine bustier?
To accent the look I added a sparkly necklace and bracelet (both vintage), as well as a fall-ready brown lip (Lippie Stix in Grunge by ColourPop, a favorite formula). I also played around with ColourPop’s new The Zodiac on my eyes (and I will *definitely* be putting together a full post on the shadow palette in the near future). Makeup is one of the best ways to transition summer outfits into fall!
If you know me, you know I almost never fuss with my hair. For this getup I gave myself a middle part, straightened the pieces that frame my face and tousled the rest. Then, I used my hands to brush through my favorite Gisou nourishing oil. Fuss-free hairstyles are my thing for sure.
